Live From Earth “Earthling Month” Sweepstakes
Official Rules



No payment or purchase is necessary to enter.

Dates/Eligibility: This promotion begins on 4/2/13, and ends on 4/28/13. Entrants must be legal U.S. residents, and at least 18 years of age or older, to participate. Officers and employees of Whole Foods Market (the “Sponsor”), and its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, their vendors and agents, and the immediate family members of the foregoing, are not eligible to win.

Overview/To Enter: Each week during Earthling Month (April 2013) customers will be asked to share their ideas on how we can all join together to make the world a better place according to a weekly theme provided by Sponsor. Sponsor will list the weekly themes on www.earthlingmonth.com. The first Weekly Theme will begin on Tuesday, 4/2/13 and end on Sunday, 4/7/13. Each subsequent Weekly Theme will begin on the following Monday and end on the following Sunday with the last week ending on Sunday, 4/28/13 (collectively, the “Weekly Themes”). Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, destroyed or misdirected entries.

There are three (3) ways to enter:

Method #1 – Online at EarthlingMonth.com: To enter, visit EarthlingMonth.com and follow the online instructions to connect with your choice of your Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram account, include your text or photo with your response to the weekly question posted, and submit (“Online Entry”). This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Becoming a fan of the Whole Foods Market page or the Earthling Month page on Facebook does not constitute an entry into the Sweepstakes. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to Sponsor and not to Facebook. The information provided will only be used for the purposes of this Sweepstakes and as otherwise permitted by Sponsor’s privacy policy.

Method #2 – Twitter: To participate using Twitter, Twitter users are asked to tweet their response to the weekly question posted at www.earthlingmonth.com by submitting a tweet using the hashtag #wfmearthling for an entry. One tweet with the appropriate hashtag is one (1) entry. Message and data rates may apply if using a mobile device to tweet. Due to the privacy settings of individual participants, not all Tweets may be viewable by all participants. The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding on all matters relating to determining eligibility of Tweets. Entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

Method #3 – Instagram: To participate, Instagram users are asked to take a photo via Instagram in response to the weekly question and tag the photo using the hashtag #wfmearthling for an entry. One photo with the appropriate hashtag is one (1) entry. The Instagram app is only available for iPhone at the iTunes® App Store or for Android devices available at Google Play. There is no fee to download the Instagram app. Use of the Instagram app and any/all features is subject to the Instagram Terms of Use available at http://instagram.com/legal/terms/. Message and data rates may apply.

Limit: one (1) entry per person, per day regardless of method of entry.

Winner Selection/Prizes: Ten (10) prizewinners will be randomly-selected by a representative of the Sponsor, on/about 4/30/13, from among all eligible entries received. Each prizewinner will receive a $150 WFM Gift Card. Total ARV of all prizes being awarded is $1,500. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

General Terms & Conditions: Potential Winners who entered via Facebook will be contacted by email, and will have 72 hours in which to respond, after which time an alternate winner will be selected, at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Potential Winners who entered by either Twitter or Instagram will be notified by messages on Instagram or Twitter from the LiveFromEarth accounts. Failure of a Potential Winner to respond within a reasonable time frame (but not longer than 72 hours) from such notification referred to above with all required prize claim information may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner from among all non-winning eligible Entries received. In the event of non-compliance for any reason, including the inability to accept the prize for any reason, an alternate winner may be selected. No substitution or exchange of prize will be allowed, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any Submission at any time in the event it is determined that the Submission is offensive, inappropriate, not in keeping with Sponsors’ images or if it is determined that the entrant has not otherwise complied with these Official Rules. All entries, including photos, must be the original work of the participant. Entry constitutes permission, where allowable, for Sponsor to use the name, photograph and likeness of the winner for promotional purposes, without further compensation. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. All taxes on prizes, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the winner. All federal, state and local rules and regulations apply. Entrants/winners agree to “hold harmless” the Sponsor, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and agents affiliated with this promotion for any and all damages that may result from participation in the promotion, and acceptance/use/misuse of the prize offered. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
